Intro to Chinese Pole
Limited Capacity filling up

This workshops will focus on the fundamentals of Chinese Pole, including conditioning, proper technique, and sequencing. Students will be challenged to complete various climbs, and will develop the skills necessary to sequence in the air. Students will have the opportunity to invert, slide, and be spotted through strength specific moves catered to their level, ranging from underarm flags to handstands

Intro to Aerial Net
Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Participants will learn a vocabulary of movement on the aerial net, hung as a sling.  We will explore what makes this apparatus unique and where we can transfer movement from other aerial equipment, always addressing the specific safety needs it brings. At the end of the workshop, students will bring together what they have learned in choreography.

The Audition Toolkit: Professional Audition Skills for Aerialists

Everyone knows auditioning is a lot of work, not everyone knows the audition starts before you ever get into the room. This workshop covers the pre-audition work of branding, networking and packet submission, as well as specifics of the audition itself. Finally it closes with tales of real-life audition experiences. Learn "the three Ps" of auditioning, how to gracefully handle mistakes, and how every audition, even the ones you don't land, are an opportunity. Auditioning is a skill! Get the skill to get the gig!

  • Students should be comfortable climbing silks and be able to invert from the air.
  • Students should have a knowledge of at least 3 different climbs.. While knowledge of Same Side or Hip Key Climbs are not required they would be helpful. Students without knowledge of those climbs can be taught those climbs in need be.
  • This workshop would be best suited to people aged 15 and up
